Driving a vehicle in Spain generally poses the same problems as it does in any other country of The European Union, but it also has some very specific peculiarities. This paper will look at both general questions which frequently cause problems to the foreign visitor to Spain, and at peculiarities derived from the internal legislation and its interpretation by the judges and courts.
