Insurance Policies |
|
The vehicle must have the corresponding Compulsory Insurance Policy, whose receipt slip should be handed over to the hirer and must always be carried in the vehicle. As well as this compulsory cover, other complementary areas may be contracted, such as : unlimited civil responsibility ( this is nearly always included, though you should check); damage, fire and theft of vehicle and its accessories and equipment; complementary personal insurance (accident insurance for passengers, etc.). Contracting these areas of coverage is not compulsory and they should be stated, clearly and expressly, with their prices and areas of coverage, in the contract or complementary certificate given to the hirer.
