To:
- Promote and dynamise Consumer Education inside and beyond
education centres , implementing active methodology, use of new technology and data bases
and on-hand material for their training as European consumers.
- Develop training courses for teachers (belonging to whichever
European country , especially Southern European countries) in consumer subjects,
professionally enabling them to give classes and to dynamise experiences in Consumer
Education in the various member states of the EU.
- Enable unemployed persons to develop a professional activity in
the field of consumer education and information, both in public and private organisms
which are responsible for consumer information, education and protection, and also
information services for consumers from European businesses.
- Train consumers and traders to ensure that mutual relations are
established in terms of equity , potentialising consensus and knowledge of rights and
obligations on both sides of consumer transactions.
- Establish a permanent exhibition and a resource centre (open to
the general public) and the development of didactic material which will make possible the
education of child and adult consumers in the EU.
